SEMCAD X light encompasses most Features which are available in the full version of SEMCAD X.

Some of the SEMCAD X light limitations (when compared to the full SEMCAD X release) include the following¹:

• Maximum of 10 solid modeling objects and materials per simulation project possible
• Grid size limited to 1 million cells
• Reduced import capabilities
• Reduced modeling complexity
• Optimization Platform disabled
• SPICE Co-Simulation Platform disabled
• no support for hardware acceleration
