Research Award Winner Presentations

The SEMCAD X Student Research Award for 2007 prizes were presented to the winners during 2008 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (APS/URSI).
 
1st Place:

Gareth A. Conway received USD 5000 for his work entitled: "Antennas for Over-Body-Surface Communication at 2.45GHz".

His school, The Queen's University of Belfast, UK received a SEMCAD X V13.2 aXware 400 Package



2nd Place:

Jeremie Bourqui received USD 2000 for his work entitled: "Novel Antenna and Characterization Method for Microwave Breast Imaging".

His school, University of Calgary, Canada received a SEMCAD X V13.2 Package



3rd Place:

Chih-Hsien Wu received USD 1000 for his work entitled: "Internal Shorted Planar Monopole Antenna Embedded with a Resonant Spiral Slot for Penta-Band Mobile Phone Application".

His school, National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan received a SEMCAD X V13.2 Package
